Where was the "shot heard round the world" heard

The expression originates from the opening stanza of Ralph Waldo Emerson's "Harmony Hymn" (1837) and alludes to the principal shot of the American Revolution at the Old North Bridge in Concord, Massachusetts, where the primary British troopers fell in the skirmishes of Lexington and Concord.
