    The sympathetic nervous system is responsible of our "fight or flight" reponse. It does so by releasing norepinephrine, which in prolonged production results in adrenaline. In turn, this chemical produces symptoms such as pupil dilation, and increased sweating, heart-rate and blood pressure.

    The sympathetic system is not responsible of digestion.
