Do you think the framers of the Constitution intended the Supreme Court to have the power of judicial review as part of the system of "checks and balances"? Explain.

    Yes.

    The framers intended to have three co-equal branches of government.

    For the Supreme Court to be on the same level of the Congress or the Executive, they would need a tool in their arsenal to make that possible.

    That tool is judicial review.
