What do state constitutions show about how power is distributed in our federal system?

    Both the state and the national government has a certain degree of power that different from one another. The national government has limited power and have to leave several type of powers to be controlled by the states on smaller scale. The U. S. Constitution require all states constitution to support "a republican form of government", But it still give freedom for each states to take care of their own
