Homo naledi, recently discovered in South Africa, has a sagittal keel, large browridge, thick cranial bones, and reduced tooth size. The brain size is small, close to 500 cc. Where might this new species fit in the larger pattern of human evolution in Africa?

    Answer:according to what I studied in biology Homo Naledi is the member the Homo genus under the family of Hominidae also called order primates.

    They are characterised by larger cranial capacity, limb adapted to erect posture, hands that show that they can hold a grip. Genus family includes extinct species H. habilis, H. erectus as well as the Cro-Magnon and a difficult to understand, mysterious H. Naledi.
