Caroline is visiting an unfamiliar country where the culture is quite different from what she's used to. What is probably true about how Caroline interprets the facial expressions she sees arounds her? Caroline easily and accurately recognized most the facial expressions she sees. Caroline generally accurately identifies people's facial expressions, not as accurately as she does at home. Caroline cannot recognize any of the facial expressions she sees around her because they are nothing like the ones she is familiar with. Caroline can recognize some facial expression with high accuracy, but not many.

    Facial expressions tend to be universal (smiling when happy, scowling when unhappy) so she should generally be able to accurately indentify peoples facial expressions - some cultures have different body language (looking down and finding it rude to look someone in the eyes) so that may pose a problem.
