Those more likely to sustain serious injuries are the boys when compared to the girls.

Explanation:

All over the world, physical abuse has been a growing issue among the people with the cases of abused childrens liteering the street. Those abused children could have been abused by either of their parents, relations, teachers, neighbours etc.

As the children grows, the physical abuse tends to decrease with some still persisting. In the situation where the grown child is still being abused, there is a possibilty of the boys sustaining serious injuries as a result of his reactions towards his abuser when compared to girls that would simply keep quite and bear it quietly.

This is seen in the various recent news of injured grown people that appears on the news channels which is caused by thier abuser.
