Suppose your friend told you, "I'm being "green" because I'm wearing an all cotton shirt and that's a natural resource." Would you agree with them? What would you tell them about the resources used to make that "natural garment"?

    I wouldn't agree because cotton can be made using intensive in capital agriculture which is damaging the environment too. They could have used a lot of insecticides made with oil which is very polluting so it is good to be aware of what green means. Agriculture destroys the environment too. Agriculture in India is very polluting. In India for example there is a huge quantity of methane going to the atmosphere when farmers produce rice.
