Polar bears obtain the majority of their annual nutrient reserves during the late winter. They hunt seals on the surface of sea ice. During this time, the sea ice is also at its highest density. Scientists have been measuring the amount of arctic sea ice for decades, and their results can be seen below.

Based on the data trends in the graph, what is the most likely prediction regarding the polar bear?

    Explanation:

    I Had to find the graph on google, but the graph pretty much shows that the polar bears are struggling to hunt seals successfully because of different factors such as melting ice. Because of the ice melting, seals cannot stay on the surface of sea ice anymore, which means that seals are probably more scattered than before which makes it harder for polar bears to hunt. Because this is not likely to change anytime soon because of global warming, the most likely prediction regarding polar bears is that they will have to find alternate food sources in order not to become extinct.
