    Hebrew Bible, also called Hebrew Scriptures, Old Testament, or Tanakh, collection of writings that was first compiled and preserved as the sacred books of the Jewish people. It constitutes a large portion of the Christian Bible.

    Also jews believe in their torah. The Torah is paramount in sustaining maintain all three principal beliefs of Judaism. The Torah consists the first five of the books of the Bible: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy. Thus, the Talmud makes the principal belief of divinely inspired laws relevant to all Jews.
