    X=lemon cost

    y=lime cost

    z=kiwi cost

    x+y=0.61

    y+z=0.54

    x+z=0.69

    interesting

    we can take any 2 equatinos

    I pick the top 2

    x+y=0.61 and

    y+z=0.54

    minus x from both sides for first and minus z from both sides for 2nd

    y=0.61-x and

    y=0.54-z

    set equal

    0.61-x=0.54-z

    add x+z to both sides

    0.61+z=0.54+x

    minus 0.54 from both sides

    0.07+z=x

    remember 3rd equation

    x+z=0.69

    now sub 0.07+z for x

    0.07+z+z=0.69

    0.07+2z=0.69

    minus 0.07 from both sides

    2z=0.62

    divide both sides by 2

    z=0.31

    sub back

    0.07+z=x

    0.07+0.31=x

    0.38=x

    sub way back

    y=0.61-x

    y=0.61-0.38

    y=0.23

    lemon=$0.38

    lime=$0.23

    kiwi=$0.31

    The lime costs $0.31, the kiwi fruit costs $0.23, and the lemon costs $0.38. I'm pretty sure.
