Skinner's form of behaviorism is called radical because, differently from methodological behaviorism, it challenges old ideas in such a radical way. His science focused on behaviors (rather than mental states) and the importance of reinforcement. Skinner's radical behaviorism studied the relationships between stimuli and responses to demostrate the relations between environment and behavior.
