    Communism

    Explanation:

The 1917 Communist revolution was ment to be a world revolution, in the sense that it was not national but internationally orientated. In the aftermath of the first world war several European countries went through social upheavals. Based on Karl Marx's social-economic theories the communist revolution in Tsarist Russia sought to emancipate the workers (proletarian) in order to destroy capitalism, private property etc.

Especially in the crisis years between the two world wars the communist example set the tone and profoundly disturbed the western capitalist ideology.
