Govinda relies on leaders and teachers in his journey to wisdom or enlightenment, while siddhartha insists on discovering wisdom himself through experiences. what has each man gained and lost from his personal style of journey? what are the similarities and differences in their journeys and their outcomes? in your experience, what are the valuable aspects of learning from someone else and learning on your own?

    The differences between their journeys is that pure enlightenment in life is achieved through the self. Govinda can still be happy with his life under a teacher but will never reach true enlightenment like Siddhartha. This is the advantage of learning on one's own rather than from a teacher.
