Your company intends to open a new office on the other side of the country. The goal is to expand the company's operations and move into some newer, more exclusive markets. This is a major step for the company, and you want your shareholders to be impressed. Which type of correspondence should you use to communicate with your shareholders?

    A formal letter should be written, and distributed to shareholders.

    If the company is big enough, it could also opt for a press release, be it in a business newspaper, or even on tv news. Notwithstanding, some shareholders may not been keen on keeping up with the media, therefore, the formal letter option still applies.
