Routine activities theory.

Marcus Felson and Lawrence E. Cohen developed the Routine activities theory to explain the ecological process of the crime or situation of the crime thus diverting the study of criminology from just the mere offenders. They used this theory to explain the crime in the United States in the period following World War two where the economy is booming.
