Brazilians have many other racial categories, including moreno, mulato, neguinho, and pretinho. Most of these terms do not have an equivalent in the United States. What does this tell you?

    This tells that America is not as race sensitive historically towards Hispanic people.

    Explanation:

    Race is also effected by social constructions and is not entirely a thing that can be determined by the color of someone's skin which is what happened in the Euro-centric world including the USA.

    This is not the case in Brazil where the definition of race has to do with the definition according to cultural division which is much more evident due to the mix between all the races that co exist there, there is a greater awareness about race in Brazil and willingness to differentiate among oneself.
