Explanation: Due to the sheer size of the empire, it made it difficult and ineffective for the leaders to govern the empire which led to civil war and chaos in the empire. That made more than 20 men taking over the throne for many years after murdering their predecessor and installing new sovereigns at will.

There were several reasons that lead to political corruption in the fall of the Roman Empire.

    Explanation:

This corruption was wide spreading throughout Western Rome. The frequent changes in government was one of the factor for the fall of Rome. The initiation of Christianity was also blamed for the decline.

Christianity changed many Roman citizens into peace-lover, this made more difficult to defend against the barbarian attackers. Instead of spending the money to build churches, they could have used to maintain the Roman empire.

Public Health, political corruption, unemployment, inflation, military spending, inferior technology etc. were the results of the fall of Rome Empire.
