Egyptian Women were given quite equal right has men, that was why a woman could become a pharaoh the (such as hatshepsut)

    Explanation:

Hatshepsut was a female Egyptian pharaoh, she wouldn't have become a pharaoh if preferences were not given to female like males. it shows that females were also given privileges and rights as the males, this gives them ability to own and control property thou it could be limited to an existent but comparing with Mesopotamian women, they (Mesopotamian women) are usually under a man, or a family, not seen taking control like Egyptian women would.

In conclusion, Egyptian women had rights more than Mesopotamian women which gives Egyptian ability to control compared to Mesopotamian women who her less privileged.
