Both the Moors and the Venetians were mostly the lords during Medieval times.

    Explanation:

The term "Moor" refers to the Muslim community during the middle ages. They were the inhabitants of Northern Africa, Iberia, Sicily, and Malta, and were dark skinned people. They had trade contacts with different countries during the medieval times. The delegates from Morocco to England were able to impress the English people during the time of Shakespeare.

The people of Venice in Italy were known as the Venetians.

During Shakespeare's time, they were known as the rich and powerful people and their nature has been described as temperamental, assertive, and wild but, they were considered to be kind and passionate people, mostly engaged in trade.

Both the Moors and the Venetians were highly respected in Shakespeare's day.

They achieved ranks and military accomplishments through victories obtained in wars. They were rewarded by their ranks in military services.

    Duties:

The ranked officials were mostly the lords. Their duties were to levy, outfit, train and to supply troops.

    Role of Women:

Women during the 15th century were to remain loyal to their husbands by obeying their judgement and doing what they were asked to do likewise the role of the daughter is to follow the decisions of their father. She had no voice to make independent decisions. Regarding bride, she must be obedient, trustful, and loyal.

Thus, women had to be obedient to her father before marriage and to her husband after her marriage. All the decisions pertaining to her would be decided by them.
