Jimmy and Karen conducted an experiment comparing tomato plant growth and the amount of fertilizer applied to each plant. The plants were kept in the same location, received the same amount of water, and the pots contained the same type of soil. They concluded that the more fertilizer they applied, the better the plant growth. What comment would you make about their conclusion?

A) The conclusion matched the data.

B) They should omit the data for Plant 5 and keep their original conclusion.

C) A better conclusion would be that fertilizer amount had no effect on plant growth.

D) The highest fertilizer rate resulted in a dead plant; they should change their conclusion.
