What negative impact did Gold & Silver mining have in the West

    The gold and silver mining negatively impacts the west by having harsh conditions. The people mined for several hours a day and barely had any sleep. Meaning many people died and starved during the process.

    Diseases were contracted due to component of the minerals and lots of miners got sick and had an illness with they gave to their families on contact, and this increased the death rate of most families of miners, and also they didn't have protective clothings. Environmental pollution, Airborne diseases, Water borne Diseases and advancement of cancer.
