The development of modern science has been a mode of conflict with many religions of the world. Techniques of biotechnology i. e manipulating the genome of a living thing is considered to be unethical in Islam as well as in some of the Christian beliefs. As a result cultural based conflicts arise. Science since its start has developed many theories which are contradictory with the beliefs and cultures of Islam and Christianity. Science believes that everything that happens on Earth has a reasonable phenomenon behind it whereas Islam and Christianity believe that everything on Earth happens by the will of God.
