    d. Bernard is unlikely to create an ethical workplace, because the attitude of top management influences employee ethics.

    Explanation:

If Bernard does not talk and discuss ethics with his employees, listens to them and takes time to solve the problems, the great problems might emerge. This can cause a lack of ethical workplace - he won't know what employees want and he will likely go against their needs and wants.

Also, if he does not refer to what they should do in order to create a more ethical, pleasant and rightful place of work, this can't be made as he won't influence them to do so.

Only by referring to these problems and influencing the employees the ethical work environment can be reached.
