What effect does emerson believe nature has on all people regardless of age?

    Ralph Waldo Emerson was a Transcendentalist, which means he valued nature quite a bit and believed that if we, as people, manage to reconnect with nature, we will have reached bliss or nirvana of sorts. According to him, if we abandon cities and technology, and go back to nature and lead simple lives, we will be happier, and we won't have to compare ourselves to others. Nature has all of these effects on all of us, however, not many people are willing to see that.
