    The front

    Explanation:

The sound of the church bells is most likely coming from the front because she continue to walk ahead despite hearing the sound of the bells which makes her to turn to the right and as well to the left. It simply means as she kept on walking the sound is likely coming from the front due to the fact that the more she walk ahead, the more the intensity of the sound increase.

In a nutshell the sound of the church bell is likely coming from the front.
