According to researches, African professionals who were living in the U. S. and Western Europe, after they lost jobs in the recession, returned to their countries. They brought back skills, managerial experiences, and involvement with international networks. Since they encountered limited job market in Africa, most of them decided to make their own business. This increased the forming of Institutions that supported the actual happenings in Africa. Entrepreneurs partnered with local professionals and we are seeing companies with intellectual properties based out of Africa. These companies are focused on solving local problems, whereas in the past, African technology business were centered on becoming a representative of a global technology companies and basically selling their workforce for low wages and the profit would still be collected by the foreign companies.
