    The biological approach, sees neurotransmitters as substances that being unbalanced on the brain, turn responsibles for factors leading to mental health issues.

    Then behaviour is reducted to chemicals that affect neurons, hormones and neurotransmitters in the brain structure will deeply influence an individuals reactions and behavior.

    Studies have shown that some people suffering show certain mental pathways that are different from a standard or control group.

    The biological basis assumes that genetics, and internal exchange between subtances can trigger most of the mental health issues so treatment includes elevating or diminishing levels of certain neurotransmitters in the brain.
