An advantage of burning biomass rather than burning fossil fuels in developing countries is:

    The cost.

    Explanation:

Many people in developing countries use the burning biomass (wood and leaves mainly) to meet basic needs such as cooking or heating, depending on the structure of the kitchen or the place where it is used can have dire health implications of the person since constant exposure to smoke generated by the combustion of biomass can cause severe respiratory problems, however, many people in the third world use it instead of some fossil fuel that generates less emissions since its cost is very low or it can even be free for people who live in rural areas, which is why they prefer to use their money in other basic needs and obtain biomass by searching or buying it at a low cost.
