    The best solution in handling this situation is letter a, it is best to slow down your vehicle and honk your horn to warn the truck driver because just using high beam lights won't work alone especially if he wasn't vieweing his rear view mirror or side mirror and it is best to be cautious when passing the truck because he may drive or maneuver into a different direction that could hit you in the car.
