The first time Shawn saw a large modern art sculpture it appealed to him a little. Shawn passes it every day on his way into work.

What would we expect to happen to his liking of the sculpture?

    Studies have shown that if we merely make a contact with something or someone, then we tend to be better attracted towards them. The excitement for that sight is very much as we do not get to see that sight again and again.

    But if we are exposed to a scene again and again then it does not remain appealing to us. Generally, we won't be excited or happy to see that place every day. Everyday exposure will let us lose the worth of the place.
