What part of Brazilian culture reflect African influences

In terms of culture, Africans have certainly left a mark in Brazil. 3.5 million African slaves arrived in Brazil, following the arrival of a greater number in the Carribean. With the situation of the Brazilian economy and the Portugese slave trade, then, the Africans were not entirely deculturalized. As a matter of fact, the Africans were able to contribute a lot in Brazilian culture, clothing and cuisine. The Feijada, for example, is an African dish consisting of black beans, meat, rice and greens, among many other ingredients. The dish is now considered a traditional dish in Brazil. Meanwhile, Samba, often referred to as the Brazilian dance owes its movements and rhythmic patterns from traditional African dances.
