    It is similar to negative and constructive conflict. Many times, people in a marriage (or, in this case, working on a film or production) see things close-to-similarly, but not the exact same, and thereby have a bit of friction. In these cases, constructive conflict would arise, whereby both sides work out the minor differences and move on. Other times, there are negative conflicts, in which both sides are much more at-odds and it becomes tougher to work out a way to move forward.
