Hello. This question is incomplete. Also, you forgot to mention that this question is about "To Kill a Mockingbird". The full question is:

"Aunt Alexandra believes the people in Maycomb have "streaks". Do you think these "streaks" are a form of stereotyping? Why or why not? How might believing in these "streaks" affect the relationships between townspeople? "

    Answer:

These "streaks" are forms of stereotypes because they label people based on what their families, or similar ones have done, regardless of the person's real personality and actions, causing a person to pay for the failures of their forks. If a person's grandfather was a thief, the whole of society treats that person as a criminal, without them ever having committed any crime, for example.

    Explanation:

Aunt Alexandra is a woman who is extremely prejudiced against blacks and people she believes are inferior, either because of her social classes, or anything else that does not fit her standards.

She believes that the people in maycomb have "streaks", that is, marks made by all their ancestry that form the character of each individual. The problem with these "streaks" is that they create stereotypes that, many times, do not match the character and personality of people, but cause them to be discriminated against, without any guilt.
