Does an impeached president get secret service protection
19 February, 08:45
Yes, you can still get secret service protection. Bill Clinton was impeached by the House on December 19, 1998 but he still titled to a lifetime of Secret Service Protection and a retirement pension worth about $200,000 a year. Presidents who are removed before their term are the ones who are not entitled to get Former Presidents Act (FPA) benefits.
