    With self-disclosure, when you talk about yourself and listen to the reactions of others you are rewarded with a deeper understanding of yourself and self-acceptance becomes more likely. And by listening to other people, you are more likely to understand them better.

    Self-knowledge, coping abilities and better communication can be the positives outcomes to self-disclosure.

    Self-disclosure is providing information from the inner-self to another person. It can be through verbal and non-verbal movements like hands, tongue, eyes. This will be to other person. If the communication is positive, self-knowlegde can be attained with better communication and coping abilities increase in maintaining healthy relationships. If the communication is negative, there can be risks in personal as well as professional relationships.
