    The information are needed for the liberal arts which came heaps and piles and the drive of being brave and strong to achieve it. Todd Gitlin explains that in this age of massive media, Americans are watching more television than ever, sometimes even more program at one time.

    The watching habits of the American people have changed drastically from what they used to be. This is the age of mass media and there is so much on television than ever before. People are even watching multiple programs at once. He uses this to make an argument for the liberal arts as they are needed now more than ever.
