Both the white and black Lacks are all blood related as they have the same family tree. Their common ancestors were: Albert Lacks (Father), Arbert Lacks (Son), Winston Lacks, and Benjamin Lacks. Albert Lacks was a the owner of a plantation. He was a white man who was Henrietta Lack's (a black woman) great-great grandfather.
