Which view of representation presents the position that a representative should simply carry the views of their constituents to the legislature, and avoid exercising any independent judgment?

    Answer: The delegate model of representation

    In this model. these delegates act only as a mouthpiece for the interests of their the people the represent. Meaning, they have no autonomy or independence from the constituency and cannot act according to their own views if they do are not the same as their constituents.
