Obviously, Gerard knows nothing about impression formation.

    Explanation:

The humans of today tend to predict other humans through the impressions which they form of others. In an interview, our impression along with our knowledge and experience is tested by the interviewer. A positive impression will be formed if a person dresses decently for an interview and shows up to be neat and clean. On the other hand, a person who shows up all untidy for a job interview will form a negative impression and will most likely not get a decent job.
