    Explanation:The alarm reaction stage is an initial reaction of the body to the stress. This is the first stage in which the body decides to either engage in fight or flight response as a physiological reaction to the stress.

    The body alarms you to either run away from the situation or fight and protect yourself from the threat.

    It is characterised by an increase of heart rate as your body releases the stress hormone known as cortisol and this gives you an adrenaline rush that spike your energy.
