With a commitment to constitutional democracy. The majority gets to decide what the country does, in a theoretical democracy, but at the same time the minority has human rights that should not be infringed on. Therefore, there is a balance that should be maintained. Figuring out this balance is a challenge faced by every politician and lawmaker.
