American ideology focuses on the importance of marriage and family values and assumes that the family is at the center of almost everyone s life.     Explanation:

    Marriage and family are key factors that build a society. Marriages create family and relationships which consists of husband, wife and children, this create societies. Family values are very important for the society. But people are choosing to get married late as they are focussing more on career and education.

    With urbanization and education, polygamy is decreasing but people are less interested in getting married as compared to the percentage of people getting married in the past.
