The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People was founded when there was a growing cases of lynching and violence against black people. They wanted to stop the hostility and discrimination, which the minority group experienced from the whites. This led them to pursue the Civil Rights Acts. They wanted these black people to have equal rights when it comes to education, social, political and economic aspect.
