How can the collision of plates lead to the formation of sedimentary rocks?

    Sedimentary rocks are layers of aging rocks. They are combined to each other, forming one big rock. When plates go on top of each other, they will merge and become a sedimentary rock. Hope my answer was useful, and don't forget to make this answer the best!
