Pseudoscience is the process that involves the collection of information and ideas which is not proved by any evidence and are backed by the belief or opinion whereas science is the study that involves the collection of information and ideas which is proved by an evidence.

It is called as pseudoscience because it is not based on any scientific fact. It is said that Astrology is a pseudoscience and is made in a way so that people believe it as a correct science.
