What is the function of the ventral hypothalamic neurons?

    Controls essential physiological and behavioural processes. These neurons are seen in hypothalamus, a part of brain contaning small nuclei. Hypothalamic neurons are positioned on the ventral part of forebrain. They respond to neural and physiological signals by producing neurotransmitters and peptide neuromodulators.
