    The cell cycle has three stages. These three stages occurs before mitosis cell division. These three stages are collectively known as the inter-phase stage.

    Those three stages are G1, S, and G2. Here, the G stands for the gap, and the S stands for synthesis. There is stage called M and no types of reaction or anything happens in M.

    So, from this, we can say that M is not a part of inter-phase.
