Today's global economy and communications link all contemporary people, directly or indirectly, in the modern world system. People must now cope with forces generated by progressively larger systems-the region, the nation, and the world. For anthropologists studying contemporary forms of adaptation, why might this be a challenge?

Because people rediscover and reinvent themselves

    Explanation:

Over time, new technologies have been discovered and the whole system has changed. In today's global economy people must cope and understand new changes and they must adapt them to survive. For the anthropologists, it is difficult to study contemporary forms of adaptation because people reinvent themselves and it is hard to judge their action as they change with time.
