Dividend Yield ratio is calculated as percentage by dividing the Dividend per share by Market price per share. The formula for the Dividend Yield ratio is as follow:

Dividend Yield = Dividend per share / Market Price per share

    We are given:

    Dividend per share = $1.60

Market Price per share = $48

    Hence, Dividend Yield = 1.60 / 48 = 0.033 = 3.3%
